The Blowback Rig is a proven carp fishing setup designed to encourage the hook to turn and take hold when picked up by a feeding carp.

Unlike a traditional Standard Hair Rig, the Blowback Rig incorporates a sliding rig ring positioned on the hook shank, allowing the hookbait to move independently from the hook.

When a carp attempts to eject the bait, the ring can slide back along the hook shank, helping separate the hookbait from the hook point and increasing the opportunity for a secure hook hold.

Combined with your choice of premium Korda coated braid, this setup offers excellent anti-tangle properties, reliable presentation and versatility across a range of fishing conditions.
