Expert Tip

1 - If the coated boom does get kinked while fighting a fish it can be straightened without the need for steam by using 2 knot pullers and pull the rig tight

2 - Always use an anti-tangle sleeve to keep the boom kicking out straight

3 - Add PVA foam to the hook to prevent tangles on the cast

4 - Check regularly for kinks or abrasions and replace when needed
