1. When using the KD rig it is essential to use a hook that is sharp enough to penetrate the carp's tough mouth. Check your hooks regularly and sharpen them if needed.
2. Hair Extenders can be used to make baits on hairs sit further away from the hook. Each card included has 3 different length extenders, allowing you to customise the length of your hair without having to make another rig.
3. The hair length should allow a small gap between the bait and the hook, typically around 8-10mm, to ensure the bait is taken in cleanly.
